Computer Help DVDs FAQs
Here are the most frequently asked questions I've received about the "computer help for the computer shy" instructional DVDs:
Can these DVDs be watched on a regular television set through a standalone DVD player?
Yes, they can. Many folks are more than a bit self-conscious about their lack of computer skills. My primary goal for these instructional DVDs was to enable "computer shy" folks to learn how to use a computer in the privacy of their own living rooms.
Can these computer help videos also be watched on computers that have DVD drives?
Yes, they can. If you have any issues viewing any of these computer help DVDs on your computer, please email me.
What are these DVDs rated?
Okay, just to make sure we're all on the same page here. These DVDs are rated "G".
Is this a subscription service?
No, definitely not. There's no fine print to read on this web site. You get what you
order and nothing more. Your credit card information is not kept
on file and you will never be charged for anything that you did not explicitly order.
Who created these computer help videos?
These "computer help DVDs for Macs and PCs" (is that great ad copy or what?) were created by Michael Gorzka - a former Adult Services Librarian and visiting professor at the University at Buffalo.
Are these computer help DVDs available in VHS format?
At this time, no. (To be honest, it took me almost two years to figure out how to create the DVDs so I'm kind of reluctant to head down that path.)
Do you have any testimonials from satisfied customers?
The feedback that I've gotten so far has been great (*huge sigh of relief*) so I hope to have a testimonials page up soon.
Are these instructional DVDs available in Walmart?
Wow, that'd be nice! Not yet though. The Computer Shy DVDs are available on Amazon and on this web site.
